Messmate varies in colour, ranging from pale browns and peach to light yellows, while the sapwood is a pale yellow to pale brown. This blend creates a warm and rich exterior that is unique and cannot be replicated across products. The unique imperfections, markings and colouring are not inconsistencies and should be appreciated.
